Chris
Arduser and George Cunningham
Chris
Arduser has been writing songs for several critically acclaimed
pop/rock combos over the past two decades.
Rolling Stone Magazine singled our Chris’ “Little Blue
River” as the strongest cut on Adrian Belew and the Bears 1988
release “Rise and Shine.” Most
recently the song “Still Big” (an homage to Billy Wilder’s song
“Sunset Boulevard”) was featured on NPR’s All Songs Considered.
Chris’
most recent CD “The Celebrity Motorcade” concerns itself
with the notion of fame and, specifically, the stories of certain
early 20th century Hollywood figures.
He continues to write steadily for The Bears, Psychodots,
The Graveblankets and solo projects.
George
Cunningham has played guitar for several critically-heralded
Cincinnati bands including The Graveblankets, Warsaw Falcons, Pike 27
and gypsy jazz aficianados the Faux Frenchman.
His most recent CD “Stumblingham,” is a collection of
fourteen semi-contemporary instrumental pop songs that integrate surf,
latin, celtic, indeterminate middle eastern music, solo acoustic
fingerstyle guitar, and 30's jazz and cartoon music.
