Ralston Bowles and David Wolfenberger

Ralston Bowles is a fixture in the Grand Rapids music scene. He takes time to encourage a number of the up-and-coming singer/songwriters in the West Michigan area by hosting open mic nights and house concerts. He was one of the audience favorites at our Trinity House benefit concert in March and many have asked when we would have him back. He has shared the stage with T-Bone Burnett, the Hot House Flowers, and Richard Buckner among many others.

He recently filled in for Shawn Colvin at Frederik Meijer Gardens Amphitheater in Grand Rapids. Shawn was stuck in Chicago due to severe weather and was trying to get to town by car. Ralston was called to start the show until Shawn could arrive. She was unable to make it due to traffic but the crowd was treated to Ralston's wonderful music. According to the Grand Rapids Press he "received a standing ovation after his set."

His first CD, "Carwreck Conversations", was produced by Marvin Etzioni.

Dave Wolfenberger, the 2001 Cincinnati City Search Songwriter of the Year returns to the Trinity House stage. He joined critically acclaimed songwriters Victoria Williams and Mark Olson as a member of the Creek Dippers. Dave has been writing, recording, and performing for over a decade. In 1999 he was selected the Cincinnati Entertainment Awards Artist of the Year. His performance will include songs from a brand new CD that he's putting the finishing touches on.

“One of West Michigan’s best singer/ songwriters” - The Grand Rapids Press

"Carwreck Conversations has all the trappings of a wise sage in storytelling mode without resorting to bitterness or preachy choruses. Lyrically clever and musically catchy, music hasn't addressed mid-life with this much dignity since Neil Young's Freedom.” – The Boston Globe

"Dave very often is the quiet younger brother of Neil Young… the perfect
lullaby for adult people...." - Belgium Public Radio
