Chris
Buhalis
Chris
Buhalis is one of South-East Michigan’s top songwriters, and a very
accomplished live performer.
He’s appeared on radio's Acoustic Cafe and performed live at
respected venues like the Ark in Ann Arbor, MI.
Chris also recorded with the legendary Townes Van Zandt who
makes a vocal appearance on Chris' debut CD, “Kenai
Dreams.”
Though he doesn’t consider himself a political songwriter,
his song “Talkin’ Sounds Like Joe McCarthy Blues,” has drawn
critical acclaim across the country.
He’s performed as an opening artist for a number of Trinity
House shows and we’re proud to present a special night focused
solely on his music.

“Chris
Buhalis shows not only that he can write beautiful, effortless
Americana as honest and gently insightful as any you've heard, but
also that he can turn a phrase as deftly with his pen as he can
with his voice. Someone call Garrison Keillor quick! This
Buhalis guy belongs on Prairie Home Companion or there is
no justice.” - Current Magazine
