Lucy
Webster and Jim Bizer
Lucy has been told countless times, "you
have a gift." Her music moves hearts and minds to new emotions. She
was featured on the Acoustic Café radio show, under the spotlight of
"some of the best unsigned artists in America." Her latest CD,
Keeping My Fingers Crossed, features guest performances from Brooks
Williams, Jan Krist, and David Mosher.
Jim Bizer's music features a unique
blend of humor, catchy melodies, and his own personal view of the
essential craziness of being human - not to
mention monster guitar playing and vocals. A couple of CD EPs were
released and, with almost no promotion, garnered radio play in four
states. Jim was selected as a finalist in the Kerrville (TX) Folk
Festival's "New Folk" songwriting competition in 2000 and was invited
back as a performer for 2001. Last Summer he released his CD, "Closer
To The
Surface."

"...Webster croons,
cajoles, and revels in the swirling sound of her original,
strongly neo-folk inflected music. Her clear strong voice
penetrates without grating or preachiness (what a blessed relief
!) and the flow of her lyrics move in and around the room,
dropping images of
hope, love, pain, suspicion: a cornucopia of aural enjoyment."
-On the Town
"Jim Bizer plays his own songs with the kind of skill and
enthusiasm that makes him both a great live performer and
recording artist. Watch out for
him."
